We started Therapy Dog visits in a new facility last Thursday, Cypress Springs on north May, that just opened October 12.  KC Shepard and Sue Bowers with Payslee and Fudge brought lots of fun and smiles to the residents. The residents at Cypress Springs all have some level of dementia or Alzheimer.  Sue and KC will be doing activities to encourage memories of the visiting dogs and memories associated with pets and animals the residents have experienced in their lives’.  The visits will be the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 4:45, and as the center grows we will need more teams.

Kenna is working in a Head Start facility, spending time, every day with the children.  This past week, a three year old boy that had never spoken said his first word.  You guessed it, the word was "Kenna".   What a great asset she has become to the program.
